Feb. 27, 2007: Jaroslav Modry,  Johan Fransson,  2nd- and 3rd-round picks in the 2007 Entry Draft and a 1st-round pick in the 2008 Entry Draft traded to Los Angeles for Mattias Norstrom, Konstantin Pushkarev and Los Angeles’ 3rd- and 4th-round picks in the 2007 Entry Draft. Mattias Norstrom was the main piece in this deal. He played an important shut-down role in the Stars 2008 playoff run before retiring. 9. February 24, 2011:  James Neal and  Matt Niskanen traded to Pittsburgh for  Alex Goligoski. Obviously it’s yet to be seen what impact this trade will have on either side but the Stars gave up a good young power forward for a puck moving defenseman that’s been badly needed. 8.
