What an epic blur of improbable events to end the 2013 NHL season... Wow. In a mind-boggling turn of events, the Chicago Blackhawks are your 2013 Stanley Cup Champions. These are the hardest to write about. It's very tough to explain what just happened. Here goes... The Chicago Blackhawks were down by a goal with less than two minutes remaining in Game Six of the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals. If they lost this game, it would mean that the series would be going to a Game Seven. With 1:16 left in the period, Bryan Bickell tied the game. Then, just 17 seconds later, Dave Bolland scored the go-ahead-goal and the Hawks went on to win the Stanley Cup. HOW? WHAT? Take a second to wrap your heads around that and watch exactly what happened in the highlights below. It's very ironic that what Chicago did to Boston tonight is almost a replica of what Boston did to Toronto in the first round of these same playoffs. This game truly demonstrated that even when it looks like all hope is lost, never give up. It's never over. What a night. Jonathan Toews Image Source: Bruce Bennett/Getty Images North AmericaRelated:HNIC Opening Montage - Game SixPatrick Kane goes wild again for Chicago, Blackhawks lead Stanley Cup Finals 3-2Stanley Cup finals: Joel Quenneville dances after Blackhawks win (.GIF)
