This is close to the blockbuster deal everyone was waiting for. The Vancouver Canucks have dealt Cody Hodgson -- a legitimate Calder Trophy candidate right now -- to Buffalo along with Alexander Sulzer. Hodgson was the tenth overall pick in 2008 and is currently fifth among all rookies in total points with 33 this season -- doing so in fairly limited minutes on a loaded Vancouver roster. He now becomes a major part of the Sabres' future and should see more playing time going forward. The Canucks, meanwhile, get forward Zack Kassian -- the No. 13 overall pick in 2009 -- as well as Marc-Andre Gragnani . In Kassian, Vancouver gets an up-and-comer with the potential to be the power winger that the club needs.Source: ESPN InsiderFor live updates follow @hockeyfanland on Twitter.
