Standout Players in the Prospect Pool

Cutter Gauthier

He has shown his skills as a forward to the Ducks team by making it on the first line of the roster in one game played. However, recording an assist in his only game played with the Ducks so far shows that his gameplay has taken shape. To be fair, it will take more games to see how his overall performance will affect the Ducks team and roster, but it may be the gamble the coach is willing to take and whether he plays on the first or third line. Olen Zellweger

Because if he gets on the wrong side of people, he doesn’t have the length to recover pucks.”

Damian Clara

“Clara has impressive height and, as a result, favors a butterfly style and relies on using his size to defend the net and turn away shots. He plays deep in his crease, has great reach with both his arms and legs and, while he lacks quickness going post-to-post, he does show a high degree of patience, making him a formidable obstacle for the shooter to confront.”
