In about 10 weeks, Columbus will play host to the first-of-its’-kind divisional tweet-up. Arguably, the Central Division has been the toughest division in the National Hockey League. A few months ago, an idea was born to bring together the great fans from these five teams in one central location. Myself (Kristopher Martel, owner/chief-editor of The Predatorial) and Rick Gethin (@rickgethin, former Associate Editor of The Hockey Writers and one of the two guys running Full Mental Jackets) collaborated to make this into what could be a perfect storm. Thus, the 2012 Central Division Tweet Up came into being. Only fitting to have a motto of “A Gathering Of Tribes”, Columbus will be rocking in the final weekend of July, celebrating all that is great about the sport of hockey and the Central Division teams that we love.
