The NHL's Central Division 2008/09 Preview: The Nashville Predators

Every sport always has them: the team that just catches everyone by surprise. Sometimes it's a team that's expected to be a bottom-dweller due to a rebuilding phase, or just a team that seems to have attitude problems, but there's always a team that people write off in the preseason who go out and surprise everyone. Usually it doesn't happen more than once, let alone two straight seasons, and three? That's ludicrous. But if that's the case, then the Nashville Predators are downright crazy. After all, they're the team that no one expects to be there, but are always left in the dirty dance of the final sixteen (or eight if you're looking at it from the perspective of the conference).
