Listening to TribLive Radio this morning they were discussing how tonight’s Pens game against the Rangers is kind of a must win since the Pens are 8 points behind the Rangers in the standings right now.  But there was also talk about the return of Crosby, as I’m sure there is most times when you hear talk about the Penguins.  Some of the speculation is that he’ll be back after the All-Star break which is the end of this month.  I find that hard to believe if Crosby hasn’t even been out there with the team skating.  Plus Coach Bylsma doesn’t even include him in his injury reports.  Then there is speculation like this article that came out today claiming his season is over.  I mean does anyone really know?

It’s been a year now, yesterday actually, since the hit that sent him out for the rest of last season, only to see him come back for 8 games this year before returning to the hidden shadows of Consol.  Don’t get me wrong I can’t wait to see him come back, he’s one of the greatest to ever play the game, but enough is enough.  Until there is something substantial that comes out from the Penguins directly I wish people would stop with all the speculation.  Because no one really knows except for Crosby, and I’m guessing even he has no clue right now.
