The Nosebleeds OLD:
Great job by Paul Gaustad and the Sabres to to avenge Ryan Miller for the concussion Looch gave him a couple weeks ago. Nothing says "I got you buddy!" like squaring up with the enemy and getting absolutely worked. Seriously though, pretty sure Gaustad didn't land a single punch. I'm sure he'll land some jabs in the post-game interview though, that's the Sabre way of taking care of business.

Red Wings, Bruins blooper real from intros
Milan Lucic and Todd Bertuzzi were chosen by NBC to introduce their lines during Friday's Thanksgiving Showdown between the Bruins and the Red Wings. They eventually got through it just fine, but it took a couple of tries for each to smoothly get through the ordeal. Lucic had some trouble remembering where Nathan Horton was from, while Bertuzzi had some diffculty pronoucing ...
Lucic ready for Sabres
BUFFALO -- Bruin Milan Lucic infuriated the Buffalo Sabres with his thunderous open-ice hit that injured star goalie Ryan Miller last week in Boston. The Sabres managed a very tepid response to the play and were widely criticized for not making Lucic answer for the hit. Thus, there is an ...
Buffalo Sabres Come Up Small Against The Boston Bruins
Buffalo Sabres fans were up in arms after their starting goaltender Ryan Miller collided with Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic a little more than a week ago. The result was Miller being put on the injured list with a concussion.
After the incident Sabres fans and players alike were embarrassed by the teams lack of response to what many felt was a despicable act predicated by Lucic...
Bruins' First-Period Fights Impressive, But Fans Expect More to Come Against Sabres
When Milan Lucic and the Bruins finally dropped the gloves with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night, it was a long time coming. NESN Nation's Dan Duquette was pretty fired up from the early shenanigans, but wanted to see how other fans felt. So he asked our Twitter followers what they took away from the early fights. Check out the video above for their reactions. Join NESN...
Should Goalies Be Fair Game If They Leave The Net?
It has been an ongoing discussion again in the NHL ever since Milan Lucic crushed Ryan Miller. It should be simple: If the goalie leaves the net, he should be fair game.
It is a bit shocking to see the reaction around the league. I would have thought general managers would be a bit more "old school" but that is not the case. According to Chris Johnston of The Canadian...
Video: Milan Lucic Fights Paul Gaustad in First Two Minutes of Bruins-Sabres Game
Two weekends ago, Bruins forward Milan Lucic was on a breakaway when the puck got away from him and he collided with Sabres goalie Ryan Miller, who had left the crease. Miller ended up with a concussion and called Lucic a piece of s*** after the game. The NHL did not suspend nor fine Lucic, [...]

BUFFALO -- It took only 1:23 after the opening faceoff for the Sabres' much-anticipated fight with Bruin Milan Lucic to occur. The task fell to 6-foot-5 Sabres center Paul Gaustad, who lined up next to Lucic on the second shift of the game. The pair dropped the gloves at the ...
Bruins Live Blog: Milan Lucic, B's Head to Buffalo for Highly-Anticipated Clash With Sabres
8 a.m. ET: The Bruins close out their three-game road trip with first place in the Northeast Division on the line in a clash with the Sabres. But that might not be the biggest storyline in Buffalo on Wednesday. This game also marks the first meeting between the clubs since Milan Lucic crashed into Sabres goalie Ryan Miller in Boston's 6-2 win at the Garden on Nov. 12. The Sabres...
Milan Lucic and Paul Gaustad Duke it Out
Nothing like a revenge brawl to start the Thanksgiving week!
Ty Anderson: Enroth gets Benoitstruck in shootout as Boston wins 10th straight
For the Buffalo Sabres, the best revenge (if you want to call it that) for the now infamous hit on Ryan Miller wouldn't be a fight with Boston's Milan Lucic, the main culprit in the incident that went unanswered by the Sabres, but rather a proverbial punch to the mean mugs of the B's on the scoreboard. And for a little over 20 minutes, it appeared that Buffalo was going...
Revenge Game For The Sabres
from John Vogl of the Buffalo News, The Sabres can say it’s just a hockey game all they want. Tonight’s meeting with Boston is more than that, and everyone involved knows it.
“A lot of people are talking about it,” Bruins forward and Buffalo villain Milan Lucic said Tuesday. “There’s a lot at stake with getting that first place in the division. Even the fans here in...

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Milan Lucic answered the call, and the Boston Bruins picked up yet another win.
Best Fights in Bruins History Include Cam Neely Pummeling Lindy Ruff, P.J. Stock-Stephen Peat Bout
Milan Lucic and the Bruins will have their likely have their heads on a swivel on Wednesday night when they head into Buffalo for a matchup between the top two teams in the Northeast Division. Lucic will certainly be at the very least an unpopular man when he takes the ice against the Sabres, as it will mark the first time since Lucic ran over Sabres goalie Ryan Miller on Nov. 12...
A Statement Game in Buffalo
With the dark cloud of what happened 11 days ago hanging over the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY, both the Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabers took to the ice on Wednesday night looking to make a statement in this Northeast Division match-up. Both teams made their statement, but in the end it was the Bruins who came out on top with a 4-3, shootout victory.
For the Sabres, they...
