  On a night where the Bruins were in need of a win in order to get back on the right track, their goaltender delivered. Tim Thomas had 27 saves on 29 shots for Boston as they defeated the Blackhawks 3-2. Bryan Bickell started the scoring in the first period when he forced a turnover in the neutral zone and wristed one past Thomas on a breakaway to make it 1-0 Chicago. However, the Bruins countered early in the second period, when the PK unit forced a turnover and Rich Peverley found Chris Kelley streaking to the net for a shorthanded goal to tie the game. Patrick Kane answered for his team with a goal in the second frame, he now has at least one point in all four of Chicago’s games this season. Tyler Seguin continued to be a factor for the Bruins though, as he got a secondary assist, his fourth of the season, to help set up Nathan Horton’s first goal of 2011-2012 and tie the game at two apiece.
