1st Goat: Chris Campoli - Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens defensemen had a bad night on the ice, logging 20 minutes in ice time and having a -3 in the +/- category. The Habs lost the game to Winnipeg by the final score of 4-0. They continue to fall down in the standings as they currently sit at the bottom of their division and 12th in the Eastern Conference.

2nd Goat: Jeff Rimer - Play-by-Play Announcer: Columbus Blue Jackets
It would probably be wise for the NHL to start holding hockey term clinics in Columbus. After Jeff Carter scores his third goal of the night in Nashville, Blue Jackets play-by-play announcer, Jeff Rimer, declares that Carter had a natural hat trick. Apparently Mr. Rimer forgot that Ryan Johansen scored for the Blue Jackets after Carter's second goal - which breaks up the notion of a natural hat trick.

Natural Hat Trick - When a player on the ice scores three goals in a row without any player scoring a goal in between them.

3rd Goat: Nick Foligno - Ottawa Senators
A big hit always seems to makes the cut when it comes to goats of the night. In a game against the Florida Panthers, Senators forward Nick Foligno collides with Keaton Ellerby. Because of his actions, Foligno was given a charging major and a game misconduct. Luckily for Foligno, the Senators won the game in Overtime by the score of 4-3.

Penalty Leaders of the Night
Colin Fraser - Los Angeles Kings - 2 Minors, 1 Major (Hooking, Fighting, Unsportsmanlike Conduct)
Matt Beleskey - Anaheim Ducks - 1 Minor, 1 Major (Fighting, Hooking)
Lennart Petrell - Edmonton Oilers - 1 Major, Game Misconduct (Checking from Behind)
Stu Bickel - New York Rangers - 2 Minors, 1 Major (Roughing, Fighting)

Fights of the Night
Matt Beleskey (ANA) vs. Colin Fraser (LAK)
Matt Martin (NYI) vs. Stu Bickel (NYR)

When it Rains, It Pours
Philadelphia Flyers forward Danny Briere will hit the shelf at the wrong time as he suffered a bruised hand in Wednesday's game against the Stars. It seems like as each day comes, a new player will be placed on the shelf for the Flyers.
