Max Talbot and Andreas Lilja are OUT Sunday vs. Penguins.
The FLyers are listing both as day-to-day.
Lilja was struck in the throat Saturday at BOSTON with a deflected puck; Talbot fell on his right shoulder during a fight with Johnny Boychuk.
The good news? Talbot doesn't have a separated or dislocated right shoulder which was feared. Flyers are calling it "upper body."

Flyers Surging at Right Time With Huge Overtime Win Over Pittsburgh
Wow. What a huge win! We were all worried it would go to a shootout, and luckily it didn’t, but who cares! All that matters is the Flyers won. Hartnell Gets Last Laugh As Flyers Statement Win Ends Penguins' 11-Game Streak
Man, the Flyers and Penguins really hate each other, don't they?
With two huge points at stake on a Sunday afternoon affair in Philadelphia that was played with the fervor of a Stanley Cup playoffs matchup, the two teams traded blows on the scoreboard and after the whistle for 65 minutes. Well, alright. Not quite 65 minutes.
With four minutes to go in regulation, the teams...
Back in Bryzness + NHL94 Tourney!
A little over a month ago, if I would have told you that the Flyers would be heading into this past weekend’s brutal gauntlet of games riding a massive wave of emotional momentum caused by a record setting shutout streak by Ilya Bryzgalov, you probably would have laughed me into internet hibernation until my thirties. Furthermore, the idea of emerging from the weekend with 3 of...

Bill Meltzer: Meltzer's Musings: Comeback Kids
One thing about the 2011-12 Flyers: They never quit and never stop competing, even when they get outplayed by top opponents for long stretches of games. Now that the club is also getting top-notch goaltending from Ilya Bryzgalov, their ability to come back if they do trail in the game bodes very well for the rest of the stretch run and playoffs.
If you look at the Flyers'...
Of course Philthy ruins Pens’ streak
00.9 seconds. That’s all the Pens had to kill to take yesterday’s game into a shootout, where they’re 9-3. But the Flyers had to ruin everything – a share of first place, the 12-game win streak, the game…the Pens got none of that.
Instead, they had to settle for one point because the world’s biggest douche since Osama and Saddam beat the buzzer. The Pens left Scott Hartnell...
