New Jersey Devils left wing Patrik Elias is expected to return to the ice for Friday's game against the Washington Capitals.
Elias sat out Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers with the flu.
The 35-year-old Elias was able to skate with the club on both Thursday and Friday morning and is likely to return, the Bergen Record reported.
