Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker might not play this season until after Christmas because of the right Achilles he injured at the European Championship.
After surgery in August, it was thought the 31-year-old Parker would be back by September, but Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas said on Friday he could be sidelined for another two months.
''It's difficult for him as he still feels pain and is still disturbed in his recovery,'' Villas-Boas said. ''It will take two or three (more) months - but we could be looking at Christmas. Hopefully it will be less.''
Spurs welcome Chelsea to White Hart Lane this weekend, knowing a fifth win in a row could potentially push them into the top four.
