Dallas Stars defenseman Trevor Daley didn’t do his team any favors when he took a penalty just four minutes into Sunday’s elimination game against the Anaheim Ducks, but it didn’t take long for the blueliner to make up for his mistake. After the Stars successfully killed off the penalty, Dallas center Shawn Horcoff got possession of the puck in the corner and fired it up-ice to get the puck out of the zone. At the same time, Daley was bolting out of the penalty box and he jumped all over his teammate’s clearing attempt. Daley caught up to the puck in the offensive zone and he beat Frederik Anderson with a nifty little move to give the Stars an early 1-0 lead.
