I'm so confused... did the Kings play all their Pacific Division games in October?
So the boys over at Second City Hockey have been producing a newsletter that they sell for $3 at Chicago Blackhawks home games since 2008. Maybe you didn't hear me correctly... it's a literal newsletter that they print out and sell at Blackhawks home games. Like the printed word. Talk about an Original 6 Franchise! Check out one of their newsletters from March 1, 2009 against the 26-26-9 LA Kings. I thought I loved my favorite hockey team by blogging about them... but Sam Fels takes it to a whole new level. So Sam asked myself, Quisp from the awfully-named Jewels From the Crown and those sisters over at Surly and Scribe to give our thoughts on the current state of the LA Kings coming into tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks. And it took up half a page out of TWENTY TOTAL PAGES...

The 20 page The Committed Indian Newsletter is one of the most amazing pieces of fan devotion that I've ever seen. People at LA Kings games can barely look up from their phones long enough to take the time to read a 20 page newsletter about the team, let alone write one. So be sure to check out all of the Committed Indian back issues and check out Second City Hockey for all your Blackhawks news. Especially if you are Kings fan that will want to see playoff hockey.
And here is a link to the full issue of tonight's Committed Indian featuring the Blackhawks versus the LA Kings. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

At the trade deadline, the only addition to the Blackhawks roster was defenseman Johnny Oduya. Most fans thought GM Stan Bowman didn’t do enough, and Oduya wasn’t big enough or physical enough to fix what was supposedly broken with the … Continue reading →
Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews thought he’d be playing by now.
He thought he was healing quickly from a concussion suffered last month. It takes time, however. And, lately, he’s come to terms to realize what it takes to overcome a concussion, and what not to do to fall into the same trap as players like Sidney Crosby.
From the Chicago Tribune:
The player that is commonly known as "car bomb" will call Chicago home for the next two seasons following the 2011-2012 NHL season. It was announced earlier today that the Chicago Blackhawks and forward Daniel Carcillo have agreed to a 2-year contract extension. According to various sources, it is assumed that the financial numbers round out to $825k per year. If true,...
Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews will not play against the Los Angeles Kings Sunday but is expected to return to action against the St. Louis Blues Tuesday.Toews has been recovering from a concussion and skated with the team this past week. The Blackhawks have been happy with his recovery, which has sidelined the their captain since Feb. 19. Chicago has gone 5-4 without Toews...
The Chicago Blackhawks have had nine rookies in the lineup this year and they have been impressive thus far in the 2011/2012 season. The forward depth for the Blackhawks has been questioned since the dismantling of the team after their 2009/2010 Stanley Cup victory in which they’ve lost the following players seen in a line-up [...]
Notrious wannabe bad boy Daniel Carcillo was given a two-year contract extension on Monday, this coming after a injury in January that put him out for the season.
Carcillo was suspended twice this season, including for the hit in which he injured himself. He will be paid an average of $825,000 per year, according to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun.
Johnny Oduya and the Chicago Blackhawks took full advantage of a handful of late chances - and New York mistakes.
Oduya scored his first goal for Chicago with 5:56 left in the third period to snap a tie in the Blackhawks' 4-3 comeback victory over the Rangers on Friday night.
Chicago handed the Eastern Conference-leading Rangers their third straight loss and fourth in five...
Daniel Carcillo was signed to a two year extension at an average of $825,000 per year as reported by Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune. Carcillo, 27, is currently on the mend recovering from surgery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on his questionable hit on the Edmonton Oilers and now [...]
Last night's bout between Mike Rupp and Brandon Bollig was one of the better fights I've seen. Rupp lands at least five haymakers to Bolligs face.
...i've haven't seen someone take that many consecutive punches to the face since...nevermind I'll leave Dubinsky alone....it's nice to see a Rangers tough guy actually live up to expectations. According...
CHICAGO, March 12—The Blackhawks have “agreed to terms” with forward Daniel Carcillo on a two-year contract extension.
Carcillo, 26, is amongst one of the NHL’s roughest players and it seems like he has finally found a home after stints with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers and the Phoenix Coyotes.
He’s put down such deep roots that he has his own classic...
Patrick Kane’s empty-net goal held up as the game-winner as the Blackhawks beat the Eastern Conference-leading New York Rangers again on Friday night. Kane was one of four Blackhawks with two points in the game, including defenseman Johnny Oduya. Oduya flashed … Continue reading →
