Earlier today, the Nashville Predators broke the news that Pred Nation had feared – Shea Weber’s “upper-body injury” is a concussion. There is no timetable for his return, but the team remains optimistic and hopeful that he could be ready by Friday’s game in St. Louis. Weber is just the latest of a slew of NHLers that have sustained a concussion.“He’s doing quite well,” Trotz said of Weber. “He’s recovering pretty well I would say, but nothing is for sure. He felt pretty good through the weekend. It really caught us off guard, and it caught him off guard a little bit when we skated yesterday.“It’s tough on him because he wants to play every game and he’s a real competitive guy. He’s our leader.
