Don't look now, but Ty Conklin is winning games for the Grand Rapids Griffins. The Griffins have struggled with goaltending this year. Even Joey MacDonald has had a tough time winning there with a 2.63 GAA. Ty Conklin has started 3 games and won them all with a 1.34 GAA and a .940 SV%. This doesn't mean Conklin will be coming back anytime soon, or ever, but he's proving that he can keep the puck out of the net. I'm happy with Joey MacDonald, but it's good to know that if something happened, Ty Conklin might still be capable. Time will tell.
