Seeing Tyler Seguin in a uniform that's not the familiar black and gold may look weird, but the 20-year-old is still playing hockey -- and scoring.
Because of the NHL lockout, Seguin -- along with a lot of would-be NHLers -- is playing overseas. He decided to take his talents to Switzerland, signing with the Swiss National League A squad EHC Biel on Sept. 20.
So far in his tenure in Switzerland, Seguin has continued his scoring ways, tallying 13 goals and 10 assists through the first 15 games of the season. EHC Biel is currently on break, and Seguin returned to Boston, but not before taking part in a marketing campaign by yielding a couple of axes.
As the lockout continues, Seguin continues to play hockey, just not in Boston.

To say that Tyler Seguin is flourishing during his time in Switzerland -- well, that just wouldn't give his performance so far justice.

Seguin got one of those goals thanks to the newest addition...
Hey remember that time Zdeno Chara and Miroslav Satan played on the same team?
Well, Chara doesn't. And after this hit he laid on Satan (skip to :53 seconds) we don't think Satan will remember much of it either:
No word on if Slovan Bratislava fans called the cops on Chara after the hit or not. Pretty sure Montreal did just out of habit...
Tyler Seguin and his EHC Biel teammates had a long break in action recently so the 20–year-old Bruins sniper did what any sane Black and Gold superstar would do — he headed back to New England.
On Tuesday, Seguin and his buddies from EchoStor took a stroll down to Bristol, Conn., to check out ESPN headquarters. There, the forward was given a tour of The Worldwide Leader and stopped...
With the NHL Lockout dragging on, players have found success in Europe. Bruins’ star Tyler Seguin has been killin’ it in the Swiss League for EHC Biel/Bienne. Seguin is scoring at a TORRID pace on the ice (23 pts=13 goals & 10 assists) and probably with the Swiss ladies as well.
The ladies are probably swooning over “The Kid” even more after the club’s latest “Be...

The NHL lockout has eradicated players’ salaries and other revenue sources, but now it’s starting to get a little bit ridiculous. It’s unfair to the one element that truly matters in hockey- the fans- and with the second lockout in recent history, the NHL had better think of a way to keep interest high, and do it fast.
The NHL has canceled games through the end of November...
Ever wonder what Ray Bourque was like in the locker room or what types of discussions the Bruins front office had before drafting Tyler Seguin? Well, the Boston Bruins Foundation is giving fans a chance to ask team president Cam Neely questions such as those as part of a lunch with the Hall of Famer.

After taking care of business against old foes like Montreal and Philadelphia, the next team the Bruins would face in their 2011 Stanley Cup run was a bit of an upstart — the Tampa Bay Lightning.
After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round and sweeping the top-seeded Washington Capitals in the second, the Lightning were riding high as they ventured into the TD Garden...
