Next up on the UFA Preview series is Viktor Stalberg of the Chicago Blackhawks. Once July 5 rolls around, if he is not re-signed by his current team, he is open to conversing and signing with any team in the league. Viktor Stalberg | RW 6'3" | 209lbs 1/17/86, Age: 27 Past Contracts  Signed in 2009: 2-years, $1.5 million; $850,000 per year cap hit Signed in 2011: 2-years, $1.75 million; $875,000 cap hit Projected Earnings Next Season: $1 - $1.5 million It is questionable if Viktor Stalberg fill that empty role of a tope six forward for the Nashville Predators. Undoubtedly he is an excellent bottom six forward, but he is in that odd stage of his career where coaches just aren't sure if he is top six material yet. Surely, he can reach that point eventually in his career. Stalberg is a 6'3" speedy forward. A speedy big guy equals disaster and destruction for the other team. Just last week, Stalberg won his first Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks. His effect on the game didn't show in the statisical section, but he did make an impact in every game he was in, whether it was using his body or playing hard-nosed hockey. Predators' head coach Barry Trotz would love to have Stalberg on his roster. The Malmo, Sweden native is a hard worker, something Trotz loves and adores. Stats
