Steve Sullivan spent the first 17 seasons of his career on teams that were just happy to make the playoffs. Things are different with the Pittsburgh Penguins, very different. The Penguins are the first Stanley Cup favorite Sullivan has played on, thanks in part to the 37-year-old's ability to blend in almost seamlessly with stars Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby. Sullivan missed just three games all season, scoring 17 goals and adding 31 assists while quarterbacking Pittsburgh's power play. Coach Dan Bylsma says Sullivan's hockey IQ combined with his speed have enabled the 5-foot-8, 161-pound winger to stick around so long. The Penguins open the playoffs on Wednesday against Philadelphia. Sullivan has made it out of the first round just twice in his career and never played in a Stanley Cup final.
