What night of hockey... The Boston Bruins scored two goals by Milan Lucic and Patrice Bergeron 31 seconds in the waning minutes of the third period to force the overtime period. At one point in the third period, the Boston Bruins were down 4-1.
You could tell by the body language of Maple Leafs that the game tying goal was a back breaker and I had a feeling that the Bruins were going to take the game in the overtime period.
And they did. Patrice Bergeron took the team on his back and at the 06:05 mark of the overtime period as he scored the game winning goal sending the TD North Garden into a frenzy.
That was Bergeron's second goal of the game and the third goal of the series. Bergeron's series clinching goal sends the Boston Bruins to the second round of the playoffs to face the New York Rangers. This is the first time the Rangers and the Boston Bruins will meet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in forty one years (1971-1972).

Patrice Bergeron is a lot of things to the Boston Bruins. He is an assistant captain. A leader on and off the ice. The longest tenured Bruin, he emulates everything that it means to wear the spoked-B. He is the teams best all-around forward who excels at the little things. He is a great face-off man, a top penalty killer, defensively responsible, and as displayed Monday night, incredibly...

Do you think Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli was pretty pumped that the Bruins tied the game? PC held that fist pump like he was squeezing coal into a diamond.
He should thank Patrice Bergeron for possibly saving his job and avoiding beating from team president Cam Neely.

Milan Lucic did a lot of things really well in Boston's unbelievable Game 7 victory over Toronto. Lucic scored a goal, added an assist and had the best handshake we've seen so far in the 2013 playoffs. When it came to the handshake line after their OT victory, Lucic got a bit personal with Toronto captain Dion Phaneuf.
This is also PDL's first time embedding a...

After the Boston Bruins pulled off a miracle comeback in game seven against the Toronto Maple Leafs, both teams congratulated each other in the customary handshake line.
Keep an eye on the hand of Boston's Milan Lucic as he gives Toronto's Dion Phaneuf a little bit of a lovetap on the groin:

Every Bruins fan down in Boston Liked the Playoffs a lot...
But the Players, Who lived just North of Boston, apparently Did NOT!
The Players hated the Playoffs! The whole Playoff season! Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason. It could be that their heads weren’t in the game quite right. It could be, perhaps, that their skates were too tight...
A.B. Post-playoff-series handshakes are one of the greatest parts of the NHL. After beating the crap out of each other for 7 straight games for the right to advance one more round closer to the cup, grown men put aside their hatreds and shake hands at center ice.
And as surprising as the Boston Bruins comeback tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs was, there was something...
Mark Fraser suffered one of the worst hockey injuries to date during Toronto's Game 4 loss to the Bruins.
The Maple Leafs defenseman took a Milan Lucic shot to the forehead and required surgery to repair a broken bone in "his cranial area." Days after the surgery rook place, a Reddit user uploaded a photo of what he or she claims to be Fraser's CT scan from St...
