The Washington Capitals’ defencemen Mike Green will miss 4-6 weeks due to an abdominal injury, according to reports surfaced on Twitter on Monday evening.
The Washington Post’s Capitals Insider tweeted the following:
Green recently landed on the injured reserve after coming back from missing 23 games due to a groin injury, Stephen Whyno of the Washington Times reported.
Green has played just 10 games this season and has registered three goals and three assists.
