Over the last few weeks people all over the world have been taking part of the Ice Bucket Challenge in order to raise awareness of ALS. The Ice Bucket Challenge has recently reached the DC area with Adam Jones and the Maryland football team completing the challenge. Today, Washington Capitals players John Carlson and Evgeny Kuznetsov completed the challenge and sent the challenge to other Caps players. Kuznetsov challenged teammate Alex Ovechkin, former Caps player Semyon Varlamov, and Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko. Carlson challenged teammates Eric Fehr, Karl Alzner, Steve Olesky, former teammate Mathieu Perreualt, and Caps athletic trainer Greg Smith.
