Trade Time ICYMI on Saturday the Canucks picked up Zac Dalpe and Jeremy Welsh from the Hurricanes in exchange for Kellan Tochkin and the fourth round pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, general manager Mike Gillis announced late Saturday. Also on Saturday, Gillis announced that the Canucks have signed right wing Jannik Hansen to a four-year extension. Hansen was originally selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh round, 287th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Hansen, 27, collected 27 points (10-17-27) and 12 penalty minutes in 47 games for the Canucks during the 2012.13 season. The Herlev, Denmark native has recorded 131 points (50-81-131) and 131 penalty minutes over the course of 318 NHL games. He has spent his entire six-year NHL career with the Canucks.  He received the Fred J. Hume award as the Canucks “Unsung Hero” on two occasions (2013 and 2011) and the Vancouver Canucks “Most Exciting Player” in 2013.
