Chris Pronger’s practice of retrieving and throwing away the game puck following the Flyers Game #2 loss to the Blackhawks really irked Chicago forward Ben Eager.
When asked if taking the puck might give the Hawks some added incentive in Game #3, Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said:
“What added incentive do they have now? They’re mad? They’re angry?” he said. “It’s the playoffs. We are going to show up and compete like hell tomorrow night. I promise you that. I don’t know what else they are going to do because we stole their puck.”
Looks like Pronger just wanted to take his puck and go home. Ya big baby!!
