NEW YORK - OCTOBER 26: Brian Boyle #22 of the New York Rangers skates against Lauri Korpikoski #29 of the Phoenix Coyotes at Madison Square Garden on October 26, 2009 in New York, New York. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

From NHL.com...

At 11:32 of the third period in the Rangers/Capitals game, the puck entered the Capitals net. The referee ruled that Braden Holtby made the original save and then the puck entered the net when Brian Boyle's right skate made contact with Holtby resulting in goaltender interference, therefore there was no goal. This was not a reviewable play. Referee's call on the ice stands No Goal New York.

Here's Boyle on the play (via Bergen Record)...

"They told me I kicked it in," Boyle said. "I don't know. I didn't get a look at it."

...if it was goaltender intereference (which I don't think it was as Boyle was pushed into Holtby), shouldn't Boyle have gotten a penalty? Whatever, Rangers won anyway.
