Minnesota Wild Nearing Extension With John Hynes

The Minnesota Wild are “closing in on extending” head coach John Hynes, reports Michael Russo of The Athletic. Hynes is entering the final year of his contract but it appears Minnesota isn’t going to have him coach with just a single season left on his deal.
