ST. PAUL, Minn. Several Minnesota Wild and other NHL players, including New Jersey Devils star Zach Parise, will be part of a charity hockey game on June 20 at Ridder Arena on the University of Minnesota campus.
Players currently scheduled to attend include Josh Harding and Nate Prosser from the Wild, Washington Capitals forward Matt Hendricks, Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jamie McBain as well as former University of North Dakota goaltender Jordan Parise and Gigi Marvin, a former Minnesota Gophers star and current member of the USA national women's team.
Zach Parise inclusion is sure to peak interest with the pending free agent expected to be courted this offseason by the Wild.
Other NHL players participating in the game will be announced on www.defendingtheblueline.org and on social media each week leading up to the game.
