The Wild have recalled forwards Jed Ortmeyer and Chad Rau from the Houston Aeros and reassigned center Cody Almond to Houston and placed forward Casey Wellman on Injured Reserve.Ortmeyer has recorded 12 points (5-7=12), 20 penalty minutes and ranks tied for first on the Aeros with a 11 rating in 22 games this season. He recorded 16 points (6-10=16) and 29 PIM in 40 regular season games with Houston in 2010-11, while adding 13 points (6-7=13) in 24 post-season contests. Ortmeyer also skated in four games with the Wild, recording two PIM.Rau has tallied 14 points (5-9=14) and a 7 rating in 29 games with Houston this season. The 5-foot-11, 184-pound native of Eden Prairie, Minn., collected 40 points (13-27=40) and 12 PIM in 60 games with the Aeros last season and skated in all 24 playoff matches tallying nine points (6-3=9).Almond has scored one goal in eight games with Minnesota this season.
