Minnesota Wild right wing Brad Staubitz was suspended for three regular-season games and three preseason games Monday. Staubitz was disciplined for hitting Cody Bass of the Columbus Blue Jackets from behind in Friday's preseason game. He was slapped with game misconduct and a five-minute major for checking from behind. Staubitz had four goals and five assists in 71 games last season.
