The Minnesota Wild announced Thursday that it has reassigned forwards Charlie Coyle and Matt Kassian to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.
Coyle, 20, was recalled by Minnesota on Feb. 3 and made his NHL debut at Phoenix on Feb. 4. He took part in five games with Minnesota and averaged 14:48 of action while registering six shots. Coyle, one of the teams top prospects, had collected 24 points in 44 games with Houston earlier this season.

Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows is known to be a pest and clearly he got under Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu’s skin. While they were crossing paths near the benches for a line change, Mikko Koivu stole Alex Burrows glove and tossed it into the Wild bench. It was eventually tossed back onto the ice by the equipment manager when the referee came over to the bench...

Four points on the line
Two points were up for grabs to whoever won the game, but the more important two points were the ones that would vault Henrik Sedin over Markus Naslund for the all-time franchise lead.
The Sedin’s and Alex Burrows tried valiantly all game to make history, but were denied by a stingy rookie and some bad puck luck.
The Canucks though were good enough to grab...
