ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild announced today that it has reassigned goalie Matt Hackett and center Chad Rau, sending the pair of young players to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Hackett, 21, had been recalled on Feb. 22, and he stopped all 10 shots he faced at Dallas Friday night. In four games with Minnesota this season Hackett is 2-0-0 with a 0.68 goals against average. He has stopped 94 of 96 shots faced. The 6-foot-2, 179-pound native of London, Ont., is 16-13-4 with the Aeros this season. Rau, a 25-year-old Eden Prairie native, has produced a pair of game-winning goals in seven games with the Wild this winter. The 5-foot-11, 184-pound forward -- the brother of Minnesota Gophers standout freshman Kyle Rau -- has tallied 21 points in 47 games with Houston this season.
