With the retirement of goalie Chris Osgood, defenceman Brian Rafalski and forward Kris Draper, Lidstrom acknowledges there’s a feeling of transition heading into this season. “A little bit with the guys retiring, guys I played with for a long time,” Lidstrom said. “It’s eventually going to happen to all of us. It’s part of hockey. “I like the additions we got. The additions are going to add some grit and some offence as well.” more
