After watching the NHL Senior Vice President of Player Safety Brendan Shanahan and his ruling today I ahve come to the conclusion that there is no consistency in his ruling. Milan Lucic was suspended today for boarding Flyer goon Zac Rinaldo. Rinaldo didn't even think the hit deserved a penalty on the play.
