As reported by TSN and the Dallas Morning News, long time Dallas Stars defenseman Sergei Zubov has signed with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL. Zubov only played in 10 games last season with the Stars, due to a severe hip injury.

DALLAS — Sergei Zubov’s last NHL memories could very well have come with the Dallas Stars, as the 39-year-old defenseman is close to signing with SKA St. Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League.
