JARED SPURGEON RUMORS

Coyotes squander big opportunity in loss to Wild

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- It's a numbers game for the Coyotes now. Due to another blown-lead and a continued dearth of scoring, the numbers got a lot tougher on Saturday at Jobing.com Arena. Did Jared Spurgeon dive on this play?

Steve Sullivan was given a two minute minor for tripping but it looks like Jared Spurgeon was a little light on his skates. I am a Wild fan but that looked like a great Robbie Earl impersonation there. — Eric J. Burton (@goon48) March 1, 2013
