Despite Strong Third Period, No. 11/11 Yale Holds Off No. 7/7 Harvard, 2-1

Senior forward Jimmy Vesey scored early for No. 7/7 Harvard and the Crimson (13-6-3, 9-4-3 ECAC) outshot Yale, 19-3, in the final frame, but goals by John Hayden and Cody Learned earned the Bulldogs (14-5-4, 9-4-3 ECAC) the 2-1 win Saturday at Ingalls Rink in New Haven, Connecticut.

Vesey Takes Home Second ECAC Player of the Month Award

Senior forward Jimmy Vesey has been recognized as the January Player of the Month for ECAC Hockey, as announced by the league office Tuesday. The award is the second of the year for Vesey who also received Player of the Month honors for November.

Vesey, Criscuolo and Madsen Among Semifinalists for 2016 Walter Brown Award

The Gridiron Club of Greater Boston announced Monday the 23 semifinalists for the 64th Walter Brown Award, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England. Among the nominees were Harvard student-athletes Jimmy Vesey, Kyle Criscuolo and Merrick Madsen.
