TRH Stanley Cup Final Preview: Jersey Boyzzz
The best part of this Stanley Cup Final is that I get to trash-talk one of the most esteemed members of The Royal Half family, Jersey Brian. Brian is responsible for some of the best posts here at TRH... including his co-writing credit on the smash hit, Rick Nash's "These Teams are on My List." But Brian has a bit of a dilemma... as a born and raised New Jerseyian who...

Ottawa Kicked the Tires on Rick Nash
Like any general manager who’s doing his job and the due diligence that goes with asking the price on any ‘big name’ player, the Ottawa Sun’s Bruce Garrioch is reporting that Bryan Murray kicked the tires on Rick Nash but balked at the asking price.
Rightfully so.
While the prospect of adding a legitimate scoring forward to compliment one of the team’s top two lines...

Blue Jackets Preparing to Deal Rick Nash as Franchise Hits Rock Bottom
On the morning of the 2002 NHL Draft, the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team with just two seasons in the NHL under its belt, made a draft-day trade with the Florida Panthers to secure the No. 1 overall pick. That pick was used on Rick Nash, the first and only face of the franchise Columbus has ever had. Nash has since evolved into one of the best power forwards in hockey. Unfortunately...

Caps Should Go After Nash
from John Feinstein of the Washington Post, If McPhee wants to make a really important move this offseason, perhaps he could take the money not spent on Semin and Wideman and put together a package of draft picks (he has two first-round picks this year) and young players to trade for Columbus’s Rick Nash.
Adding a forward of Nash’s caliber would change the Caps in ways...

Keep An Eye On New Jersey And Nashville
from David Shoalts of the Globe and Mail, Since there is still another day until the NHL has a playoff game - and isn’t it nice to watch something other than four guys strung along their own blue line or falling down to block shots? - it is time to amuse ourselves with this summer’s roster shuffling.
We all know the major names expected to change employers - Roberto...

RN Notes: Kreider or Nash; Gaborik Debate; Importance of Faceoffs
Remember the trade deadline? Rick Nash rumors swirled around the Rangers, and there were two very divided camps. One side didn’t want the Rangers to give up anything for him, and the other was willing to give up the farm. Then there were a few people in between, like me, who were O.K. with it [...]

Is San Jose to Reconsider Looking Into Rick Nash
The San Jose Sharks offense looked decent for most of the regular season but mediocre at best during the post-season. Now after a disappointing playoff run the franchise could be looking to reconsider interest in Columbus Blue Jackets star forward Rick Nash.
In five games of the first round of playoffs San Jose only scored eight goals and were tied for last in goals per game averaged...

Nash may have played last game with Jackets
Rick Nash may have played his last game as a Blue Jacket on Sunday. His is the biggest name known to be on the trade market as the NHL trade deadline arrives Monday.
If so, it was like so many other Nash games for the Blue Jackets. He scored a goal and they lost, falling 4-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Consol Energy Center.
