You make the call... Here is what I saw. First, you have a shoulder to shoulder hit that's called a elbow, that would lead to a power play goal by the Pioneers. Then, you get a legit call on the Scott Mayfield, that's a five minute major in my book. In my opinion, WCHA ref Don Adam made the right call on that play. Adam's side kick, Tim Walsh probably blew it as well...
The prime time player day
Sunday was a day of seeing key players making key plays for both the New York Ranger and the New York Islander prospects. No player perhaps made a bigger play than Scott Mayfield (NYI 2011 2nd) of the Denver Pioneers.

Friday night had a lot of everything for everybody from the New York Ranger and New York Islander prospects. We had some pretty good performances from the prospects and this was one of the better evenings we have seen in a while.

NCAA Prospects Weekly Roundup
Brock Nelson is on a roll for UND and Anders Lee continued his strong start to the season this past weekend. Fellow prospects Corey Trivino and Scott Mayfield battled it out on Saturday night in a top-10 match-up that pitted Trivino’s 7th ranked BU Terriers against Mayfield’s 3rd ranked DU Pioneers. Mayfield’s squad came out on top in a hard fought 4-2 DU victory.
