U.S. Olympic athlete (and former LSU track star) Lolo Jones was the guest celebrity during Saturday's episode of ESPN College GameDay, live on location at the LSU campus at Baton Rouge. Jones picked Michigan to beat Minnesota, but took a verbal shot at Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson, who earlier this year claimed he could beat Olympic gold medalist Usain bolt in a race.  Jones made a bold statement by saying "Denard Robinson, you couldn't beat me in a race, let alone Usain Bolt, but I'll give you and your team the win today." And, of course, Jones picked her alma mater, LSU, to defeat top-ranked Alabama. Video via BLS. • WHO CARES about Lola Jones anyway and why was she on this show making stupid female comments? The last time I heard about this girl she failed to medal at the Olympics. ESPN College Game Day can and should do a lot better. Get rid of her. USMC
  • Marine 69:

Her name is LOLO Jones, not LOLA, If you can't even COPY her name correctly how can you expect anyone to give credible consideration of your comments? Now, this is no "stupid female", your words, not mine. She has a BA from LSU. What do you have? She was an Olympican, what have you accomplished? She is a self-promoter, that is intelligent! I believe you are
jealous? Don't know if she can beat the Michign football player, but I do know that Alabama can beat the hell out of ALL the Michigan Players (41 to 14), at Michigan!
  • flyingbottles:

Maybe you would prefer an idiot male?
  • do you really think your hatin is goin to help anyone. I did see you boy steppin ourt to the challenge...
  • Do I have a shot at doin' this chick? She is too hot.
  • Lolo will do or say anything to try and keep her name in the limelight. She's had her 15 minutes of fame and there is no more to be had. To make a statement like she made is not just trying some self promotion, it's utterly ridiculous. So Lolo, do us all a favor and just fade away never to be heard from again.
  • Good grief people. Ever heard of the term "tongue in cheek"?
