Kaycee Feild, the iconic PRCA bareback rider who secured a remarkable six PRCA World Championships, leads the 2024 ProRodeo Hall of Fame class announced on Monday.

Feild, a dominant force in the arena, clinched PRCA World Championships in 2011-2014 and again in 2020-2021. Joining him in this prestigious class are esteemed individuals such as team roper Art Arnold, a 1968 RCA World Champion; the late Blue Stone, a renowned bull rider who claimed PRCA World Championship titles in 2001 and 2002; and stock contractor Sammy Andrews. Also among the inductees are bullfighter Darrell Diefenbach, who graced the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 12 times from 2001 to 2012, as well as notable figures like J.D. Yates, a seasoned team roping competitor, and the outstanding bull Mr. T of Burns Rodeo Company.

The 2024 Ken Stemler Pioneer Award, recognizing individuals whose innovative contributions have propelled the PRCA and the Hall of Fame forward, is bestowed upon Bob Feist. Feist, known for his involvement as both a contestant and announcer at major rodeo events, is the visionary behind the widely celebrated Bob Feist Invitational Team Roping.

These notable individuals will be formally inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame on July 13 during ceremonies held in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Reflecting on his induction, Feild expressed surprise and gratitude, especially considering his recent retirement after the 2023 PRCA regular season. He shared his admiration for his late father, Lewis Feild, also a ProRodeo Hall of Famer, and emphasized the significance of this honor in his career journey.

Feild's illustrious career, which began with obtaining his PRCA card in 2007, saw him qualify for the National Finals Rodeo 13 times and secure the average title four times from 2011 to 2014. Notably, he holds the record for the most NFR round wins in bareback riding, with an impressive 29 victories.

Arnold, reflecting on his own journey to the Hall of Fame, emphasized the dedication and learning process involved in perfecting his craft over the years. Meanwhile, the legacy of Blue Stone, who passed away in 2022, continues to be celebrated for his unparalleled achievements in bull riding, including back-to-back PRCA World Championships.

Sammy Andrews, a third-generation stock contractor, expressed humble appreciation for the recognition, underscoring his lifelong dedication to the sport of rodeo. Similarly, Diefenbach, hailing from Australia, highlighted the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving his goals, culminating in this prestigious accolade.

Yates, reflecting on his extensive career in team roping, expressed gratitude for the honor, acknowledging the significance of being recognized alongside rodeo legends in the Hall of Fame. The renowned bull, Mr. T, immortalized for his athleticism and prowess in the arena, is celebrated for elevating the profile of the Burns Rodeo Company.

On the committee side, the induction of the Tri-State Rodeo committee from Fort Madison is a testament to their dedication and contributions to the sport. Their pride in hosting a successful event for over a decade is evident, reflecting the spirit of community and collaboration that defines rodeo culture.

For barrel racers Marlene (Eddleman) McRae and Jeana Day, the honor of joining the ProRodeo Hall of Fame is a culmination of lifelong dreams and dedication to their sport. Their joy and gratitude upon receiving the news underscore the profound impact of this recognition on their rodeo careers.

Finally, Bob Feist, honored with the Ken Stemler Pioneer Award, expressed deep appreciation for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of innovation in advancing the sport of rodeo. His contributions, both as a competitor and visionary, have left an indelible mark on the rodeo community.
