The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) announced its 2024 class of Heroes & Legends inductees, the second group to be honored for their significant impact on Western sports. The induction ceremony will take place at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City on July 11, preceding the Oklahoma Wildcatters' inaugural homestand, Wildcatter Days, scheduled for July 12-14 at nearby Paycom Center.

Among the honorees is Florida Freedom Head Coach Paulo Crimber, a 10-time PBR World Finals qualifier, who will receive the prestigious Ring of Honor for his remarkable contributions to bull riding. Crimber, a former competitor who earned over $1.11 million during his career, has since dedicated himself to mentoring Brazilian bull riders and serving as an official translator for the PBR.

Also being recognized is Smooth Operator, a two-time World Champion Bull, who will receive the esteemed Brand of Honor posthumously. Smooth Operator, cared for by Chad Berger, achieved legendary status with his exceptional performances, retiring in 2021 after an illustrious career.

Frank Newsom, renowned bullfighter known as the "Fearless One," will be honored with the Jim Shoulders Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contributions to bull riding safety throughout his 25-year career.

Rodeo legend Casey Tibbs will posthumously receive the Ty Murray Top Hand Award for his enduring impact on the sport of rodeo, marked by six PRCA saddle bronc-riding championships and his dedication to promoting rodeo worldwide.

Tiffany Owens, recipient of the Sharon Shoulders Award, will be recognized for her integral role in supporting her family's ranching operation while her husband pursued his career as a PBR judge.

The Heroes & Legends ceremony will kick off with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. CT, followed by a seated dinner and the ceremony at 6 p.m. CT on July 11 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
