In her fourth year of hosting the CMT Awards Show, Kelsea Ballerini made a total of nine outfit changes. Nine.

One outfit, in particular, garnered quite a bit of attention.

Ballerini took to the stage in a gold sparkly long-sleeved bodysuit paired with a pair of black sheer tights — and no pants.

Sporting a beautiful matching gold eyeshadow with her hair in a slicked-back ponytail, Ballerini performed her 2014 hit song "Love Me Like You Mean It."

When critics and social media started to spew comments like, "You forgot your pants," Ballerini just simply filmed a TikTok.

She appeared in a black smock while getting her hair and makeup done yet again. She captioned the video with a kiss-face emoji,"."

Sarcastically, Ballerini said, "'You forgot your pants for your performance' - shut up. No, I didn't."

"'Where are your pants?' Again, shut up. It looks hot. Period. Bye," Ballerini quipped.

With a simple laugh, she ended the video.

The 30-year-old country singer was comfortable with her choice and took to the stage with confidence.

Ballerini opened the show in a sparkling Dolce & Gabbana long-sleeved mesh dress with a black bra and panties underneath.

One of the many stunning Ballerini outfits was a red David Koma gown, which she wore on the red carpet, where she appeared with her boyfriend, Chase Stokes.

The star also came on stage in her 2023 Halloween Cowboy Barbie outfit.

At one point, Ballerini was in a green feathered minidress.

With all of her hosting responsibilities along with serving as a performer, Ballerini was also nominated for three awards, although she didn't end up taking any trophies home.

She kept the fashionistas guessing, and she was hot — let's just shut up and admit it.
