Skier Lindsey Vonn was airlifted off the slopes after suffering through a pretty brutal crash at the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Schladming, Austria. According to NBC Sports: American Lindsey Vonn suffered a serious crash in the women’s super-G on the opening day of the alpine skiing world championships on Tuesday. A helicopter was called to take the four-times overall World Cup champion to hospital. The event itself has been delayed numerous times due to fog and poor conditions, however there is no word whether or not this had any correlation to Vonn’s crash. The video above comes from Cosby Sweaters (via @AlexOHoulihan) and it shows both the crash and the aftermath with Vonn laying motionless. Here are tweets from the same account showing his immediate reaction to the fall: The extent of her injuries are currently unknown. [h/t Cosby Sweaters] Filed under: Other Sports, Video
