Via The Last Angry Fan:

Lindsey Vonn had surgery this past Sunday to repair her torn right ACL and MCL following a horrific crash that came in a Super-G race in Austria the week before. Doctors are confident that Vonn, an Olympic gold medal winner at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, should make a full recovery with aggressive rehabilitation, and that she should be able to return to competitive skiing at some point.
I’m no kneeologist, but after seeing how awful her surgically repaired knee looks, I’m not so sure I concur with Vonn’s surgeons…
Vonn’s gorgeous gams ain’t so gorgeous anymore.
Although this isn’t the first time we’ve seen post-operative photos following terrible sports accidents, the shock value will always be there. You think you would be immune to the ghastly sight of a swollen, bruised knee with a couple of surgical scars on it, but you’re not, and unless you’re an orthopedic surgeon or combat medic, you probably never will be.
Enjoy your dinner.

Sorry after I posted I edited to include. I wasn't used to how the posting works here, and just replied under another post. I didn't mean this to say you were wrong in ANY way.
I have seen every grammatical error there is from whats posted and the comments on the Posts. I have come to good reason for such an event amongst Scholars. Herein lies the answer....
My hypothosis is this..It's Saturday night, people lose controll of their cognitave skills. Therein, everyone is skilled higher that any other. Makes perfect sense to me. Once you've had surgery you become an Authority to those who are gonna get it after you. They connect with you.
Then the next topic on medical problems changes before you get done advising others on the last topic because the thread is so long. Just keep typing your solutions to all the worlds problems, you will be heard. Thanks.
Im a physician and with all the surgery she's had, Im sure that they will heal. The problem is that this isnt back yard softball or pick-up basketball. This Olympic downhill skiing. I know that she has the best Doctors and Tiger can give her knees a lot of exercise (opening and closing lol) but the fact remains, she still only has a year to get back into top form for the slopes- sooner for Tiger. I wish her luck. Only time will tell
