Winter has made a triumphant return to Brian Head in Utah, leading the resort to make the exciting decision to extend its ski season. 

Located in Southern Utah, Brian Head Resort has just announced that it will be adding an extra weekend of skiing and riding, starting from Friday, May 10 and running through Sunday, May 12. Initially scheduled to close on Sunday, May 5, the resort's decision to extend the season comes on the heels of receiving a substantial 10 inches of snowfall in the last 48 hours alone, bringing the season's total snowfall to an impressive 306 inches. Presently, the resort boasts a solid 63-inch base with excellent powder and packed powder conditions, promising an exhilarating experience for snow enthusiasts. Lift tickets for this extended season can be purchased in advance for as low as $19, with the added bonus that kids 12 and under can ski for free throughout the entire season.

  • Monday, April 29 through Sunday, May 5: The Giant Steps Express (Chair 2) will run from 10am to 4pm, 7 days per week. The Giant Steps Lodge will continue to offer rentals, lessons, food and beverages.
  • The resort will be closed from Monday, May 6, through Thursday, May 9.
  • The resort will reopen on Friday, May 10, through Sunday, May 12, turning the Giant Steps Express (Chair 2) from 10am to 4pm.
