On Saturday, April 6th, there was lift off at Boreal for the Intergalactic Minipipe Jam presented by Revert Foundation.

The sky was blue (unusual for this spring in Tahoe) and the energy was high as the Woodward Tahoe minipipe (plus a few bonus coping features) was sessioned by locals and visitors alike, all to raise funds for Revert.

There are so few minipipes around nowadays but that only enhances the love of the pint-sized pipes. Minipipes are exceedingly fun and elicit a similar feeling of fun as their full-sized counterparts, though with significantly lower consequences, of course. To this end, the Intergalactic Jam call was answered by riders from all over Tahoe and far beyond. The answer to #wheresboody for the day of the minipipe jam? At Boreal.

The Revert Foundation is a Tahoe-based non-profit founded by brothers Monty and Chris Roach and built on the idea that providing meaningful and constructive experiences in the outdoors, specifically in the mountains, can help young people gain confidence and learn life lessons that can encourage and aid in their development. Since 2015, Revert has been providing opportunity and mentoring to youth ages 10-17 through programs in the Tahoe area, specifically at Boreal.
