Spring Conditions Bring Roller Derby Snowboarding Contest to Woodward

The snowboarding community in and around Salt Lake City, Utah is bustling and continues to thrive due to events like this. Dang Shades is a local (but also global and very successful) goggle and sunglass company started by a professional snowboarder named Chris Beresford. 

The opening of Woodward, Park City resort has been integral in bringing the community together and hosting events and contests like this quite frequently. Woodward Park City came to Utah in 2019, so it is still pretty new, but it has had tons of success, even being referred to as "the country club" by local snowboarders and skiers.

Dang Shades' Roller Derby was filled with laughs, friends, sunshine, Traeger food, tunes from epic DJ Matty Mo, and a course built with rollers to pop unique and innovative tricks off of. An epic start to the spring in Utah.
