Arsenal consider Pepe contract release

Arsenal are ready to move on from record signing Nicholas Pepe this summer.

The Gunners are aiming to sell Pepe, who has one year remaining on his deal.

Given the Ivory Coast winger is no longer a part of head coach Mikel Arteta's plans, he could even be released on a free transfer.

Per football.london, Arsenal do hope they can find a buyer for Pepe in the coming months.

However, they are willing to release him on a free transfer to get his salary off their wage bill.

The Gunners are also in line to sell American striker Folarin Balogun, who was on loan at Reims last season.
