Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is set to miss Sunday’s north London derby against Tottenham after suffering a hamstring injury in the Gunners’ Champions League qualifying win over Fenerbahce.
The Germany international is expected to be out for three weeks after pulling up early in the second half of the 2-0 victory over the Turkish side which ensured the club continue their 16-year run in Europe’s top competition.
Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey who scored both goals in the game also came off with a groin problem while injury-prone England star Jack Wilshire picked up a niggle after a series of crashing challenges.
